Welcome Longhorns

I really liked how the Longhorns welcomed the new students (college freshmen) in front of J2. There are the cheerleaders who dance and the boys who sing a hymn, the Longhorns mascot who dances a little and and takes photos with people who come looking for him. I think it was just a little of what happens at Welcome Longhorns that will take place from August 23rd to 30th this year. Unfortunately I won't be here to witness this event, which will be the Longhorns' official homecoming event. All events are created to give students the opportunity to meet other Longhorns, discover campus resources, explore the Forty Acres and celebrate UT’s pride and traditions!” It still has the mascot that symbolizes Texas.
